Riffs. Rhythm. Rattle.
Rooted in Brooklyn's indie scene, Metagirl & the Earth Passengers is an original rock collective that's been making noise in NYC since 2016.
Under the direction of Erica Rowell, the group's hook-driven songs have drawn praise from Foxfire Magazine, which wrote about their latest single "I Don't Care": "There is movement in every part of it, both emotionally and thematically. It makes us feel things that make us want to move instead of staying still."
The group's sound features layered guitars, driving rhythms, and lyrics that have something to say about life, love, art — and sometimes even quantum physics.
Think Buzzcocks meet The Specials, with touches of REM and Kim Deal in the mix.

COME HEAR OUR
Indie rock is alive and well in and around NYC, and we're so happy and grateful to be part of it. Part of our aim is to get you out of your seat and on your feet, working up a sweat -- and loving life.
PLACES
This is our bread and butter. From intimate clubs to large stages, we know how to rock the room ... and the stadium.
From street fairs and festivals, to farmers' markets, to parties, we play wherever the love of music takes us.
Like a fine wine paired to the right food, we go well with patrons of breweries and wineries and green markets who like good tunes with their food and drink.
Always up for a good time to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones, we are available to play in the tristate area and beyond..
